The Engineering and Economics Faculty currently consists of 7 departments, bachelor’s degree programs in 5 areas, 10 master’s degree programs, and postgraduate programs.

Each year there are more than 200 graduates in the areas of economics, finance, marketing, management, and accounting and auditing. Graduates of the Faculty work as managers in banks, departments of the city and regional administrations, and also in industrial enterprises.

The educational process is organized by a highly-skilled staff. Specialists from major industries and leading higher educational schools of Russia are involved in the educational process. The curriculum is accredited by the European Council for Business Education and the Association of Colleges, Business Schools, and Programs. This accreditation helps to ensure successful job placement for graduates in Russian and foreign companies.

Students intern in enterprises and scientific and industrial organizations, in governmental bodies, and in insurance and audit companies. They have opportunities to study abroad and in leading Russian higher educational schools in fulfillment of the approved curricula. Educational work in the Faculty is supported by the students’ self-government, the Student Union and Student Scientific Community.

Some of the Faculty’s students were winners of the International Chinese-Russian Forums of Young Scientists, All-Russia Contest of National Economy Development, holders of the President’s, Governor’s, and Mayor’s awards.

Many students are active in sports. Students have been winners of the World Cup, Russian Cup, and Sports Contest of Siberia and have been named International Masters of Sport, Masters of Sport, and Candidate Masters of Sport in swimming, fencing, mountain skiing, and others.

In the Faculty, there is a great range of possibilities for professional self-fulfillment.
