Throughout its history the University has established and maintains international relationships with more than fifty universities in twenty-five countries of the world.

Most agreements include student and faculty exchange issues. The aim of SibSAU is to have an average of 10% of students both either as foreign students studying at university or students of SibSAU participating in different programs of student mobility.

On the average about 50 foreign students come to SibSAU each year mostly as exchange students or for summer courses and internship. Up to 25-30 students of SibSAU study each year abroad as exchange students or for double diplomas.

Most student mobility programs have been developed with the US universities, the universities of the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Holland. A lot of students from the CIS study at SibSAU which is specific for all Russian universities. Student exchange and study abroad programs are organized under SibSAU bilateral agreements with such European higher schools as Holland Fontys, Eindhoven, Budapest Business School in Hungary, Czech Technical University in Prague, etc.

Student and faculty exchange programs are developed with such universities as Budapest Business School, Hungary; Ulm University, Germany; Fontys University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands; University of Maribor, Slovenia; Czech Technical University in Prague, the Czech Republic etc.

Students of partner universities are welcomed to take part in exchange programs at all faculties and institutions of SibSAU.
