Educational project of scientists of Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology became one of the winners of the competition "Russia and Germany: Scientific and Educational Bridges". The award ceremony took place on September 15 at the sites of the Brandenburg Academy of Sciences in Berlin and the National University of Science and Technology "MISiS" in Moscow.

A group from the Siberian Institute of Applied Systems Analysis named after A.N. Antamoshkin of Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology was among the 25 winners out of 125 applications submitted for the competition. The project is called "Youth, Science, Artificial Intelligence: Ulm-Krasnoyarsk, 30 Years Together". Its essence lies in the long-term partnership of Reshetnev University and the German University of Ulm which is aimed at comprehensive support of young scientists through a system of exchanges, internships and bilateral academic advising.

The project solves the problems of the integrated development of the direction of ubiquitous affective artificial intelligence as well as highly effective training of young professionals who can optimally solve problems in the field of artificial intelligence now and in the future.

The diploma for winning the competition was awarded to the project manager, Evgeny Semenkin by the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy and the Permanent Deputy Ambassador of the German Embassy in Russia Beate Grzeski.

Results of a 30-year partnership with the Ulm University:

-75 internships supported by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and other funds;

-10 master's theses and 7 theses Dr.-Ing. defended by students of Reshetnev University in Ulm. 3 doctoral and 43 candidate dissertations defended in Krasnoyarsk;

- 16 graduates of Reshetnev University work in Europe, 11 of them in Germany. The rest work in Russia;

- holding the annual international scientific conference IWMMA, the works of which are published in scientific journals in Europe;

- creation of the Siberian Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, which includes 8 laboratories.
