The program offers intensive training for professionals in the field of specialized translation, which is aimed to develop practical skills and abilities.

Professional retraining: "Translator in the field of professional communication" is an excellent alternative to a second higher education. Upon completion of the course you can receive a diploma and conduct the translation activities.

Classes are taught by a native speaker from the UK and highly qualified teachers.

Who can apply?

Full-time program "Translator in the field of professional communication" is for:

-        Everyone who wants to improve the knowledge of Russian and English language

-        Everyone who wants to learn the profession of a Translator

-        Everyone who is interested in the sphere of  intercultural communication

Theoretical Basis of Translation

Practical Aspects of Translation Activity

Training format:

Start of the course: February, October

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)

Cost of the course: 22 000 RUB (for 1 semester) payment  should be provided each semester in full or partial.

Admission conditions: students who have and (or) receive higher education and speak English at a level not lower than B1 according to the CEFR Common European Framework of Reference for languages.

Mode of study: full-time, with partial use of distance technologies.

Class mode: evening classes up to 3 times a week (the days of training are determined at the organizational meeting)

As a course outcomes you will:

1.      receive a Diploma of Professional Retraining "Translator in the field of professional communication"

2.      become a professional in the field of specialized translation

3.      learn how to perform translation analysis of the text, choose translation strategies and edit the translation text

4.      understand the basics of intercultural communication, earn the practical  skills and abilities that are necessary for a translator
