How to apply

 

STEP 1 Visit pages of the University Bachelor, Master and PhD degree programs in Russian and English and choose one. There you can find contact information about the International Admission Office and programs’ divisions. They can provide you with detailed information about the programs’ content and admission requirements. Check application deadline!
STEP 2 Fill in the online application form
STEP 3 Submit the scans of the international passport and a copy of the educational documents of the appropriate level (see B. Section of the Policy) in English or Russian to an admission officer by e-mail:
STEP 4 Receive the official answer about your admission to the University within 2 weeks
STEP 5 Send your contact information (postal address and phone number) to the admission officer and receive the Visa Support Letter and Official Letter of Admission within 2 months after approval
STEP 6 Apply for a student visa and legalize your educational documents in a proper way
STEP 7 Buy a ticket and send information about your arrival to the admission officer not later than a week before your arrival to use a free pick-up service
STEP 8 Upon arrival to the University, campus submit all the necessary educational documents legalized properly (see B. Section of the Policy), international passport, 12 recent color photos (3 x 4), an original medical certificate that proves HIV-negative result taken within the last 30 days, certificate of health
STEP 9 Sign the Learning Agreement and pay the tuition fee for the first academic year (refundable) to the university bank account

Visa Issues


An application will not be considered by the Admission Office until it is deemed complete (i.e. receipt of all the necessary transcripts and supporting documents)


Bachelor’s Degree (4 academic years) / Specialist Program (5 academic years)

To enter the university, an applicant shall submit the following documents by fax or e-mail:

1.    A copy of the Education Certificate that verifies the Secondary School level (including academic transcript: the list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) in English or Russian.

2.    A copy of the international passport.

3.    Documentary proof of the Russian/English language proficiency (if any). 

Upon arrival at the University an applicant shall submit the following documents:

1.    The original of the Education Certificate that verifies the Secondary School level (including academic transcript: the list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) legalized properly.

2.    copy of the legalized Education Certificate that verifies the Secondary School level (including academic transcript), translated into Russian and certified by a Russian notary. It is recommended to have documents translated and notarized in the Embassy of the Russian Federation in your country. Note that spelling of the name in the translated documents should agree with one in the entrance visa.

3.    Documentary proof of the Russian/English language proficiency (if any).

4.    Successful results of the entrance tests (the English/Russian language and major subjects proficiency).


Master’s Degree Program (2 academic years)

To enter the university, an applicant shall submit the following documents by fax or e-mail:

1.    A copy of the Education Certificate that verifies the Secondary School level (including academic transcript: the list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) in English or Russian.

2.    A copy of the Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (including academic transcript: the list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) in English or Russian.

3.    A copy of the international passport.

4.    Documentary proof of the Russian/English language proficiency (if any). 

Upon arrival at the University an applicant shall submit the following documents:

2.    1 copy of the legalized Education Certificate that verifies the Secondary School level (including academic transcript), translated into Russian and certified by a Russian notary. 3.    The original of the Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (including academic transcript: list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) legalized properly.

4.    1 copy of the legalized Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (including academic transcript), translated into Russian and certified by a Russian notary.

5.    Documentary proof of the Russian/English language proficiency (if any).

6.    Successful results of the entrance tests (English/ Russian and interdisciplinary exam)

 

Postgraduate Degree Programs (4 academic years)

To enter the university, an applicant shall submit the following documents by fax or e-mail:

1.    A copy of the Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (including academic transcript: the list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) in English or Russian.

2.    A copy of the Master’s Degree Certificate (including academic transcript: the list of studied subjects, grades, and marks) in English or Russian.

3.    A copy of the international passport;

4.    Documentary proof of the Russian/English language proficiency (if any).

 Upon arrival at the University an applicant shall submit the following documents:

5.    Documentary proof of the Russian/English language proficiency (if any).

6.    Successful results of the entrance tests (English / Russian and major subject proficiency).
