Strategic International Development Program


The concept of strategic international development program demanded that Reshetnev University, as an innovative university, reevaluate its conceptual priorities for strategic development,   significantly increase the role of all aspects of international cooperation in general and international department in particular. Currently, Reshetnev University considers international activities as one of the key areas of its work and implements it in the following areas:
•cooperation in the field of scientific research;
•international student mobility and academic exchanges;
•international relations in the field of export of educational services;
•increasing the efficiency of international activities.
This program for the development of international cooperation of Reshetnev University defines the goals, objectives, general principles and organization of work on international cooperation at the university for the period until 2025.
It is the basis for long-term current planning of work on international cooperation, pursuing appropriate policies, solving organizational, financial and personnel issues of managing the international activities of the university.

 1. Export of educational services.

Goal: to increase the share of foreign students.

Objectives:

•to create a modern system of training foreign citizens to improve the University rating on the international market of educational services;

•to develop priority training areas with high export potential;

•to develop basic professional educational programs for bachelor and master degrees and additional professional programs in English;

•to conclude agreements with foreign partners in order to implement programs leading to obtaining diplomas from two partner universities;

•to create network of permanent partners abroad to ensure the formation of a contingent for studying at the University;

•to develop postgraduate and doctoral programs, advanced training courses, internships, summer schools, etc.


2. Scientific research work.

Goal: to integrate the University in the international scientific and technical space as an equal partner.

Objectives:

•to identify priority areas for the development of scientific relations with specific countries, regions and international organizations and develop international cooperation programs and projects based on them;

•to develop international cooperation in the field of fundamental and applied research with foreign scientific schools;

•to form joint research teams and innovative structures, creation of joint laboratories;

•to participate in international research program grant competitions;

•to participate in international conferences and holding international conferences at the University.


3. Development of international academic mobility.

Goal: to improve the quality of education and the efficiency of scientific research.

Objectives:

•to establish external and internal integration connections and using educational resources of the world;

•to ensure the competitiveness of young research and teaching staff, postgraduates, undergraduates and students in the domestic and international labor market;

•to improve qualifications of scientific and pedagogical staff and other employees of the University.


4. Promotion of the University in the international scientific and educational space of higher education.

Goal: to raise the profile of the University in the educational market.

Objectives:

•to become a member of international professional organizations;

•to become a member of international associations of institutions of higher learning;

•to increase the number of research and teaching staff of international organizations, members of international editorial journals;

•to increase the number of international structures (centers) established at the University.


5. Organizational and methodological support.

Goal: to improve the efficiency of planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing international cooperation at the University.

Objectives:

•to develop multi-level language training of teaching staff through the development of additional educational programs;

•to develop the social and educational base of the required volume and quality;

•to improve the version of the website of the University in foreign languages;

•to develop and implement a system for stimulating the participation of University departments and employees in international activities;

•to improve qualifications of scientific and pedagogical staff and other employees of the University.
