In order to develop mutually
beneficial cooperation, Alexander Korostelev, a PhD student of the Breeding and
Gardening Department of the Institute of Forestry Engineering, underwent an
international internship in the educational program “Technology for growing coniferous
seedlings with a closed subsets of root systems, taking into account modern
achievements in forest selection and genetics” at the Department of Forest
Plantations and Soil Science, Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU).
The internship program
included an introduction to modern trends in the development of forestry and
forest reproduction in the Republic of Belarus with a visit to the facilities
of the Negoreloe Forestry Experimental Station of the BSTU.
The internship trip was
implemented within the framework of a project supported by the Krasnoyarsk
Regional Fund for the Support of Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities
based on the results of the Academic Mobility Project Competition (II phase
2023).
